When I first came up with the idea for Melanie In The Middle, one of my first tasks was to find a photographer who could help me create the header you see at the top of the blog. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted, but I needed to find someone who could make it come to life. After some research, I found Kerry Goodwin.
Kerry Goodwin is a Boston based, on-location lifestyle photographer. She is a very talented photographer who focuses on taking pictures in natural settings which allows people to be captured in a more authentic way.
Kerry’s fees are very reasonable for the high quality work she produces. Digital negatives are included with all price points which is a very wonderful bonus! Professional quality prints and albums are available for purchase on an a-la-carte basis but the images are yours to print and share as you like!
Weddings, bellies, newborns, families, and pets are among Kerry’s preferred subjects. Her modern, casual style insures your images will be very natural with a lot of candid moments.

I haven’t done a professional photo shoot for my 2 boys since they were 7 years and 7 months. This June they will be 12 and 5 1/2 years old. It’s time!

We had a family photos taken for my 80 something young grandmother a few years ago that didn’t come out too good. I’ve been wanting to give it another try especially now that my long dreamed of baby is finally a reality and can join the fun.
Would love to have a professional photo taken of our family! We have 2 kiddos, 9 and 6 and then along came baby Jack! The years go by so fast and I’d love to have a photo that truly captures our love, life, and laughs!

I’ve been a stay at home mom for 7 1/2 years now.I had 3 babies in a year and a half (son first and twins boy and girl),the first 2 years were probably the hardest of my life. My husband is self employed and works A LOT !!! So I had some very llllllloooooonnnnng days alone with three babies.Well this fall my twins will attend full day kindergarten.My life will be changing in a big way,I think a family portrait would help me to close one chapter of my life and start a new one.
My husband and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary this June. I’d love family photos of my two little ones with us to show just how much things have changed in 10 years!
