And I’ve been very lucky over the years. I’ve found most of my books at yard sales or library book sales. It’s so easy to get books for cheap.
That New York Times best seller you so desperately want to dive into? It will be on a nearby yard sale table this summer if you just wait a bit.
My only problem is that I tend to hold onto books. Which is pretty ridiculous because I never read them a second time. Unless it’s a cookbook….
As much as I have a hard time parting with my books, that spring cleaning bug bit me pretty hard. It’s time to find a new home for most of them.
Boxes are being filled and shelves emptied out. Dust bunnies are flying all over the place. Piles of books filled with adventures for someone else to discover and enjoy.
But I did put a few piles aside to share with you, my readers. Books that I’ve enjoyed this past year that you might find enjoyable too!
See that book above? The Love Goddess’ Cooking School? If you like this here blog of mine, odds are really good that you’ll love that book too!
If you’d like to enter to win the pile of six books you see in the picture above, leave your first name, last initial, the state you are from and which book you are most interested in reading.
And just for kicks, if you feel like sharing how you get your books at a discount, I’m sure other book lovers would appreciate it!
Entries must be received by Friday, March 30th 11:59pm ET. Good luck!
