A perfect day in my book!
Patti- As I look back on the pictures, I realize we sort of just ate our way through the day based on my visual accounting. So, yup. Perfect.

Stephanie- What did you get? I went earlier today, but it was just for grilling type stuff. I have my eye on the tomatoes, Chinet, and a few other things. I’ll go back mid-week once my coupons arrive. Congrats on your savings!! Have a great holiday!
LOL butter was 2/$6 and I had 75 cent coupons that doubled (not as good as when they were 2/$5 w/75 cent coupons but still a nice deal)
My favorite deal was the 2/$4 crystal light deal. They were part of the buy 6 and get 200 gas points deal. I had some 50 cent/1 coupons that doubled so I used 4 of those and then $1/2 for the other 2. I actually did this twice, I am so excited to be stocked up on crystal light!
The other good deal was the hood ice cream, 2 for $5. Also part of the buy 7 get 200 gas points but I didn’t end up with 7 items. I had some $1/1 coupons and some $1/2 so between 1.50 and 2.00 each. Not too bad.
I still have a hard time at the grocery store for some reason, I am doing great at the drug stores though! I will get better, I am lucky to have a Stop and Shop and a Market Basket right next to eachother so I have been going to both when I can depending on the sales.

Love the juicy peach and I agree with Ranger; the shot of brother watching over younger sister as she makes a roasted marshmallow for a smore is priceless. Your holiday weekend is starting off very nicely Melanie. Enjoy!
