I drove up to the outlets today to check out the grand opening of the new Tommy Bahama store. They sent an email which said that there would be steel drums, bites to eat, and sale prices throughout the store. Say no more. I’m there.
And as much as I big puffy heart love Tommy Bahama, I was completely unimpressed with their grand opening. The prices were not much different than Macy’s on any day of the week.
Heck, I think Macy’s is even cheaper if you wait until the end of season sales. Offering 30% off retail at the outlet just doesn’t do anything for me. Yawn.
I almost made it out of the outlet mall unscathed, but the last store on the block was Williams Sonoma which meant I was going in. I swear that store has the same affect on me that Channing Tatum has on every girl under the age 99.
So in I went…..
And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I found this nifty beaker. I’ve been looking for something to help me get olive oil from my huge BJ’s jug into my counter top bottle, which usually is a nightmare to fill. But not anymore.
If you have a Williams Sonoma outlet close by, you might want to go check out the deals. It seemed like half of the store was 70% off. If cooking makes your skirt fly up, this is the sale for you.
Just be sure to grab a cart as soon as you walk in. Don’t even bother with the basket. Grab the cart.
