A couple of weeks ago we took the kids on a day trip to Six Flags New England. We had planned to go over the summer, but our schedules got the best of us. So, bright and early on a Saturday morning we made the two hour trek to Springfield MA to enjoy a day full of fun and rides.
Once past the admission gates, the boys took off like a bullet. They had coasters on the brain and both were on a mission to ride the newest addition to Six Flags New England, Goliath.
A crazy tall coaster with what looks like a straight down descent, Goliath is thrill seeker’s dream. And Goliath is just one of the many high octane thrill rides at Six Flags New England.
Once unleashed, we knew that we wouldn’t see the boys until lunchtime. Food has a way of bringing them back to the wallet holders.
While the boys were off getting their brains scrambled, we took the girls to the tamer rides. One of the things I love about Six Flags is that there’s an equal amount of little kids rides so that the tots don’t have to sit around while watching their older siblings have fun.
With all of the shows, character greetings and dance parties, there’s plenty to do for the wee set.
Even though the summer is over, the fun hasn’t stopped at Six Flags New England. Now with weekend hours only, families can enjoy a fun day at the parks minus the sweltering heat.
And for those of you who enjoy all things spooky, it’s Fright Fest time at Six Flags. Halloween themed shows, Spooktacular dance parties, and a Creature Feature full of live reptiles to meet are just a few of the activities in store for visitors this month.
