Well, it appears that Stop & Shop is not being the tease that I thought it was. The gas point deals are still popping up in the ads. This is very welcome news as I had totally written the program off with a tearful goodbye after weeks of no gas point deals.
I’m also pleased as punch that there have been healthy offerings with the gas points program lately. Hot oatmeal last week. Chobani yogurt and tuna fish this week. Such a nice change of pace from the usual candy bars and junk food.
But don’t go thinking I’m on a healthy high horse over here. You’ll notice that I have Freschetta frozen pizzas in my cart. They are part of an instant savings deal this week. Spend $25 on certain frozen foods and get $15 off your order.
That’s a serious savings, my friends. Each pizza ends up costing $2 each. Have you ordered pizza out lately? Then you know what a bargain this is. I’m not sure how I’m going to fit them all into my already bursting freezer, but I will figure it out.
I’m also stocking up on Perdue roasters as they are .99/lb. I bought two yesterday and as soon as I got home I tossed those puppies into the oven. For that price we will be eating lots of chicken salad, chicken Caesar salads and pasta dishes with chicken this week.
And those salads are a good plan because I made this today. I will be adding extra miles to my workout this week and eating like a bunny, but it was so entirely worth it. Calories be damned.

What a fantastic deal on the frozen food!! $2 frozen pizzas are beyond affordable when you have teenagers and their friends in the house! Those kids can hoover down 2-4 of those a night!! I followed your link and checked out your Arancini recipe. Okay, I have to admit I couldn’t pronounce or spell Arancini properly an hour ago but I love this recipe and I will try it soon. You have inspired me!

I have to figure out my sns list. gotta stock up a bit since my dh will be losing work days starting the end of apr(defense employee) Might grab a few pizza and a chicken or two and stock the large freezer. I got a few pizzas 2 wks ago with the freezer deal but didn’t get any with just cheese. And since our local place is 18 for a large pizza we will be sticking with frozen for a bit.
This is a good week for an S&S list! I’m also stocking up on Swanson broth at Shaws. Not a bad deal at $1.25 a carton after coupons! And what’s up with those pizza prices?? Oy!
What’s the deal with the granola bars???? I have been doing BAD with coupons lately but I just try to at least shop the sales. I need to get it together again soon!
The granola bars are part of the gas points promo. Buy 7 and get .20 off per gallon up to 35 gallons. They end up costing around .40 each when you factor in the gas points. A good deal!
