BlogHer 12 and a Giveaway!

BlogHer 12. I survived it. It was a whirlwind trip, and I’m so happy to be home. Exhausted, but happy. Before I catch some desperately needed zzz’s, I thought I’d share a few pictures with you.

Tomorrow I’ll write a more in depth post and respond to comments on the previous one, but for today I’ll just share a glimpse of some sights and a few products that caught my eye in NYC.

The view from my room at the Hilton was nice, and the room was pretty comfy. That said, the Hilton has crappy internet service in the rooms, which made it really hard to blog. This was an issue in 2010 too, so you’d think they’d get it together.

I didn’t get much time to walk around and enjoy the sights, but I did get a chance to take in this bit of magnificence. A natural wonder for sure.

The conference itself was great, but we’ll discuss that tomorrow. For tonight, I’m going to share with you some products I saw on the expo floor that I thought were pretty nifty.

Lifeproof makes cases for your electronics that protects them from liquid. Something that I appreciate after losing a phone in both the pool and the toilet. Considering how much it costs to insure iPhones, this seems like a good investment.

If you have a pint sized car lover in your family, you might want to check out the new HotWheels Wall Tracks. With tracks that secure to the wall with 3M Command Strips, your little one will have a blast watching the cars zip around their room. And you won’t have to worry about holes in your walls. Pretty darn cool.

I’m not sure why I didn’t take a picture of Rickland Orchard’s Greek Yogurt Bars, because they were incredible. Maybe it’s because I ate it before I could snap a picture of it. It comes in a variety of flavors, but my favorite was the blueberry. It just might be the very best granola bar I’ve ever eaten.

But the award for the booth with the biggest crowd went to Eden Fantasys. They ran out of product well before the conference was over. Maybe that’s why all of the women seemed to be in a good mood this conference. I sure hope they come back every year.

As promised, I gathered together some swag for a giveaway. It’s a huge assortment of products, and there’s even more than what I have pictured, but this is just a taste of what will be in the winner’s box. You get what you see in the shot above, and everything pictured from here on down…

$15 in PetSmart gift cards, $5 Build A Bear gift card, a blingie camera strap for your point and shoot camera, an assortment of free product coupons, and lots more.

And a little blast from the past. It’s a size small, but I’m sure you will find some cool use for it. See? I haven’t forgotten my roots.

You didn’t think I’d chicken out, did you? I was one of the first in line. The things I do for you. So self-sacrificing.

But wait, there’s more! Trojan was also buzzing around the expo floor. Here is their new Triphoria, and I even got you batteries. You’re welcome.

How would you like to win this fine assortment of prizes? I mean c’mon, this is even better than those prizes you get in Contestant’s Row on The Price Is Right! Who needs a motorized scooter when you can win all of this?

To enter, comment on this post by leaving your first name, last initial, the state you are from, and that’s it. I toyed around with having you guys share which product you’re most excited to win, but I think that would be too much to ask. But oh so much fun to read.

Entries must be received by Sunday, August 12th 11:59 pm ET. Good luck!
